Software development for the South African public sector

Departments, municipalities, regulators, SETAs and state-owned entities need software that survives audits as well as launch days. We design, build and run it with the controls your procurement and ICT teams look for.

Checklist

What procurement and ICT teams can verify

Facts we stand behind in every submission, with documents supplied through the bid process.

  • Registered South African company

AINEXIM (Pty) Ltd is a private company registered with the CIPC.

  • On the Central Supplier Database

Listed on the National Treasury CSD. Registration reports accompany tender submissions.

  • POPIA accountability

Our Director is the company's Information Officer under POPIA, and operator agreements are part of every contract.

  • South African data residency

Client platforms can run in the AWS Africa (Cape Town) region so that data stays in the country.

  • Built to WCAG 2.1 AA

Accessibility is designed in from the start and tested with keyboards and screen readers.

  • Owner of the technology

We build our own platforms on open-source foundations, so there is no reseller licence in the price.

  • Fortnightly reporting

A written progress report every two weeks: work completed, risks, decisions needed and budget.

  • Exit plan from day one

Documentation, runbooks, infrastructure code and open data formats, agreed before work starts.

Tenders, RFQs and RFIs

How we respond to a bid

Clear, early answers and complete submissions. We would rather decline a bid than submit one we cannot deliver.

  1. Step 01

    Send the reference

Share the tender, RFQ or RFI number, the closing date and any briefing session details through the contact form.

  2. Step 02

    We confirm fit

We tell you plainly whether the scope matches what we build and run, and if not, we say so early.

  3. Step 03

    Clarifications

Questions go through the channels set in the bid documents, so every bidder receives the same answers.

  4. Step 04

    A complete submission

Company documents, technical proposal, team, pricing schedule and a working demonstration where it helps evaluation.

FAQ

Questions procurement teams ask

Yes. AINEXIM (Pty) Ltd is registered with the CIPC and listed on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database. CSD reports and tax compliance documents accompany our tender submissions.

Hosting in South Africa supports data residency and simplifies POPIA's cross-border rules. AINEXIM can host client platforms in the AWS Africa (Cape Town) region, af-south-1, and the location is agreed before the build.

Data residency in South Africa

GCIS recommends that departments conform to at least Level A of WCAG 2.2. We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which goes beyond that minimum, and accessibility is part of the definition of done for every feature.

WCAG for government websites

Your content, documents, data and configuration belong to you and can be exported in open formats at any time. AINEXIM builds on open-source foundations, so no third-party product licence is resold in the price.

The exit plan agreed at the start applies: documentation, runbooks, infrastructure code and data handed over in open formats, so another team can take over without starting again.
