Projects and delivery
Cost depends on scope, the number of user roles, integrations with other systems, security and hosting requirements, and the support you need after launch. AINEXIM estimates after a short discovery and delivers in two-week sprints, so you see progress and can adjust priorities as budget is spent.
Custom software developmentDiscovery comes before design. We then work in two-week sprints, each ending with a demonstration to your product owner and a written report covering work completed, risks, decisions needed and budget.
How we workYour content, data and configuration belong to you and can be exported in open formats at any time. Ownership of the code is agreed in the contract, and every engagement includes documentation and an exit plan.
Our commitmentsYes. New software connects to existing ERP, CRM, finance, HR or government systems through documented APIs and adapters, so your systems of record keep their business rules.
APIs and integrationsNo. Assistants answer routine questions from your approved content and hand the conversation, with its history, to a person when a question needs judgement.

Security, POPIA and hosting
The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 regulates how personal information is processed in South Africa. It sets eight conditions for lawful processing and is enforced by the Information Regulator.
POPIA and software platformsNo. POPIA does not certify software products, so treat any 'POPIA certified' label with caution. The organisation using a system stays accountable; good software supports those obligations with access control, audit trails, hosting choices and a written operator agreement.
What to ask a vendorClient platforms can be hosted in the AWS Africa (Cape Town) region, af-south-1, so production data stays in South Africa. The hosting location is agreed before the build starts.
Cloud and DevOpsNo. Local hosting helps with data residency, but compliance also depends on security safeguards, operator agreements, retention rules and lawful processing by the responsible party.
Data residency in South AfricaSecurity is part of the definition of done: secure design and code review, dependencies kept current, services run with least privilege, monitoring, tested backups and audit trails.

Accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the W3C standard covering contrast, keyboard use, text resizing, captions and more. Accessibility is part of the definition of done for every feature.
